What’s your caching style?

I’m an all-around cacher and love long trips both domestic and abroad – I welcome trips where the adrenalin can kick in, in a tree, a mountain wall or Viaferata – Bring it on 🙂

Tell us a bit about your last trip

The trip lasted 10 days going from Sandefjord to Voss – further down Haugalandet – Stord – Stavanger – Sandnes – Dale – Egersund. This trip was thoroughly planned with cachetur and the caches were sorted in a good order in relation to how we chose to drive and we had prioritized them in case we had to skip  some. This trip had not been the same without cachetur.no and is an invaluable tool both when summarizing the day’s effort and when looking at the next day and making the last plans before going to bed : _)

Which feature on cachetur.no are you most happy about?

To be able to invite others to a trip, and be able to plan with them is absolutely brilliant

What functionality do you emphasise when talking about cachetur.no to people who do not use cachetur.no?

It’s a great way to plan trips – set up routes and share this with others – everyone who is on the trip has the same caches and the same tool.

Why do you use cachetur.no?

There is no other tool that is good enough for this purpose – say what you want out there in the big world, but cachetur.no is the ultimate tool – you do not just add caches, but also other things like accommodation, eateries, etc. when it’s a natural part of the trip – all in one place

Why do you contribute financially to cachetur.no?

It’s obvious: Because this is a tool I use and I actually think it should have a minimum price.

What is the most important thing cachetur.no does for you?

Keeps track of my trips and lets me get the necessary overview of what to accomplish on a trip

How has cachetur.no helped you plan trips with others?

It’s obvious that you sit together and add caches to a trip, and together you can prioritize both importance and order – this creates the illusion of taking the trip before going on the trip and therefore getting to know the caches and challenges before leaving – which in turn leads to good conversations about how to solve a trip

What do you think about the cachetur.no user support?

Support is enormously good – and considering that it is voluntary, I just wish to give all praise and honor to those who stand in the front line here and helps us others that’s “struggling” 🙂

Something else you want to say?

Cachetur.no should have a minimum fee – if possible one should make some of the current functions into a free version and a premium version – I’m pretty sure it would’ve been a success
