What’s your caching style?
I’m not picky . I like that geocaching is varied. Then I can prepare and make trips for what I want from time to time.
Tell us a bit about your last trip
The last trip I went to went to Galdhøpiggen and Trondheim with the old man and was not laid up as a cachetur, but I still used cachetur.no for the planning. Because then everything is in the same place and is easily accessible.
Why do you create Trip templates?
I’ve created some, and that’s a long time ago. It’s to show others my caches along a route and how they can easily find everything in one place.
Which feature on cachetur.no are you most happy about?
It’s hard to choose just one function, everything is so well put together.
Have to say that seeing the route at geocaching.com and project-GC is probably the best.
What functionality do you emphasise when talking about cachetur.no to people who do not use cachetur.no?
If you have a good plan in cachetur.no it will be an effective trip without much hassle. All you want, can be entered here. It’s also easy to do something together with others in different places. Otherwise, I’ll talk about what people ask for , I have a good knowledge of cachetur.no and have been there since it was started.
Why do you use cachetur.no?
Because this is how I started caching. We then created lists and copied almost everything cachetur.no gives us now. I can not cache without a plan.
Why do you contribute financially to cachetur.no?
Because I appreciate all the time and energy that has been put into the product.
What is the most important thing cachetur.no does for you?
Keep track of everything I want to know, and this only with a few keystrokes on the phone.
How has cachetur.no helped you plan trips with others?
Everyone can come up with suggestions and we will put it together until everyone is satisfied. There we can also easily see what we are missing.
How did the cachetur.no app help you on your trip?
I have just downloaded it and not used directly. Have GPSr both in the car and a handheld that I’m navigating with. I do not use the phone itself to cache with. There was no app when I started in October 2009.
What do you think about the cachetur.no user support?
I have been lucky and gotten the founder among my friends, and hence rapid response and assistance. I know many people who know a lot about cachetur.no so it’s rare I’m waiting very long for the help I need.
