We haven’t had time to do much development on during the last months, other than translations and bug fixing. Ordinary geocaching have priority during the hottest months 😉

But we have never stopped listening to feedback, and we’ve made lots of notes – both with our own experiences, and with feedback from people we’ve talked to. We attended a workshop in Grimstad, and Korsgat had a presentation about on the FAD 2017 mega event.

More than enough to do

As of right now, we have 237 open issues in our project tool. So we have enough to do… Even though this is a high number, this is a good thing for us. We get a lot of great feedback from our users, and that’s what keep us moving forward. The number of pure bugs is fortunately very low.

We stille have a few things remaining in the internationalization process, mainly adapting the functionality tailored to the Norwegian community. Functionality like event calendar, filtering of trip templates etc. We also have to add the possibility to specify time zone for trip start and end times. And a setting to allow users to choose between kilometers and miles.

Thanks to great effort from cghove, we already have the help center available in English. And we plan to add more help center articles in the next months.

Our sponsors are the ones keeping this site running. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to grow, and we wouldn’t be where we are today. And we would not be able to give you everything for free, without any ads or nasty 3rd party tracking.

So a huge thank you for making all of this possible!

What we’ll focus on now

We have lots of things we would like to focus on now, including (in random order):

  • Filtering of trip templates
  • Filtering of RV places
  • Moderator tools
  • Newsletter
  • Completion of the list function
  • Improvements to trip templates
  • ToDo list templates
  • Assiging of ToDo items to other participants
  • Improvements to the expense sharing function

We would also like to hear from you, what’s most important for you? Do you have any ideas you haven’t told us about yet?
