We’re getting closer and closer to the winter, it’s getting dark, cold and wet outside. Caching season is over, and the development season has started!
We’ve had a very productive day today, and finished a lot of smaller issues. We’ve also added some new functionality.
Changelog
To make it easier to see when we add new functionality, fix bugs (what bugs?) etc, we’ve added a changelog page.
Share your trip templates
We’ve made it easy to share a trip template, both in social media and in cache descriptions, blogs etc. Just click “Share” in the trip meny, and you will get the dialog below.
Event time
Event start and end time have been available in the calendar and event overview for a while now, and we’ve finally added it to the waypoint list as well. And of course also to the printed lists.
New waypoint types
We’ve added three new waypoint types:
- Lab cache
- Petrol station
- Charging station
Distance between stations
The last two waypoint types mentioned above was created to make room for a new function. If you add waypoints with the type Petrol station or Charging station, cachetur.no will indicate the distance from the start of the trip or from the previous station. The distance is based on the generated driving route.
This is probably most useful for charging stations, but the functionality is there for both types of stations.
